Winterfest of Lights 2023 in Ocean City, Maryland
A dazzling display awaits you at Winterfest, one of the signature events on OCMD’s studded calendar of annual festivals. The 2023 edition kicked off on November 16th and runs through New Year’s Eve over at Northside Park, mere minutes away from the Ashore Resort & Beach Club.
You’ll already be falling under the yuletide spell at the Winterfest Entrance Pavilion. Within the glittery, merrymaking complex, you’ll find a spectacularly lit-up path weaving through many thousands of festive lights and animated displays: from the Field of Lights to Santa Claus’s Reindeer to 12 Drummers Drumming.
Some of these Winterfest displays are interactive, and the illuminated pathway comes scattered with selfie setups and other designated photo ops.
The glorious centerpiece of Winterfest of Lights is the 50-foot-tall Christmas tree. And fear not: Santa Claus will be visiting direct from the North Pole to pose for pictures.
